Obituary of Sean L Hill

Please share a memory of Sean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sean graduated from Pennsauken High School. He was inquisitive and adventurous from a young age. He developed a deep passion for cars and a greater love for fireworks, often saving his paychecks to buy enough for spectacular displays. Sean loved attending car shows and monster truck events and cherished ending any occasion with a fireworks show. As he matured, Sean became a food enthusiast, exploring eateries he discovered on social media with his favorite cousin and partner in crime, Karl Brown. He particularly enjoyed dishes with white rice, soul food, Spanish, Mexican, and Chinese cuisines. Above all, Sean treasured family gatherings centered around good meals. Sean's spiritual journey began with his grandparents, Faytress and Ruth Hill. It deepened when he embraced faith at St. Matthew AME Church under Reverend Ellis I. Washington, whom he affectionately called "Hallelujah Praise God." Active in the Young People's Division and Sunday School, Sean was a friend to many and cherished his church community. Always ready to lend a hand or share a hug and a smile, he found joy in helping others, whether assisting them up the stairs to the sanctuary or their cars in the parking lot. After high school, Sean worked as a groundskeeper for the Pennsauken School District. He loved the outdoors and the freedom the job provided despite occasionally suffering from allergies. When not at work or church or exploring new dining experiences, Sean could be found at his Nana’s house, doting on Roscoe, his favorite Shih Tzu dog. Sean’s vibrant life was tragically cut short on April 16, 2024. His grandmother Ruth Hill, mother Tiffany, stepfather Ward, brothers Faytress and Storm, sisters Mia and Ania, godson Ra'San, aunts Kim, Cheryl, and Tonya, uncles Faytress, Lamont, and Bilal, as well as a large number of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends, are all in mourning. Sean will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for his generous spirit and bright smile.
